Run Dunfermline 2010

Run Dunfermline race weekend will take place in 2010 in early June. The race weekend centres on Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline with activities taking place over three days, with the centrepiece event: the Dunfermline City Half Marathon on the final day of the race weekend.

25th Anniversary of Dunfermline City Half Marathon

2010 sees the 25th Anniversary of Dunfermline first half marathon staged in 1985!

The Scottish National Half Marathon Championships will be held in Dunfermline for the seventh consecutive year. In addition, the Half Marathon will also feature as one of only six events in the prestigious Stewart's Grand Prix series.

As Scotland's representative on the UK Athletics home international circuit, Dunfermline will host the first UK home international challenge. There will be invitations going out around the world for teams to take part from Europe, North America and Africa. In this special year Dunfermline is really going places!

  • Run Dunfermline Primay Schools Relay Challenge - Friday 11th June
  • The Pittencrieff Park 5K - Saturday 12th June, 2.00pm
  • The Dunfermline City Half Marathon - Sunday 13th June 11.00am
  • The Family Fun Run - Sunday 13th June 11.15am
  • The Healthy Living & Lifestyle Show - Saturday Noon to Sunday 13th June 4.00pm
  • The Auld Toun 10K - Wednesday 2nd June 7.30pm

Free Tech Tee for First 250 Half Marathon Entries

The first 250 runners who enter the Dunfermline City Half Marathon will each receive a free unisex New Balance Tech Tee with their order. All shirts will be posted directly to the applicant.
